The Painting That Started it all
Sunset Dreams
I had been in an artistic rut. I told myself, “Just do what feels right.” I had nothing in mind when creating this piece besides those words. In the corner of my living room of my college house, I created this warm painting, not knowing where it was going to go.
After painting it, I took inspiration from the chaos of iSpy books that I loved as a child and made the random shapes into random doodles using a white paint pen.
This painting made me feel so proud of myself and my capabilities. I know I have a long way to go with the development of my art, but this piece made me believe in myself.
