If you’re new here and you don’t know who I am, my name is Savanna. I started going by Sav in high school when my friend Emily started calling me this nickname. Ever since then, I allow people to call me Sav if I like them...for the most part. Otherwise, it’s Savanna, especially in professional settings.

I feel like Sav is the true me: goofy, weird, clumsy, and loud. Savanna is the more refined me: professional, sensible, confident, hardworking, and a team player. There is obviously some overlap; I am always creative, empathetic, kind of funny (although Sav is hilarious), and honest.

Why am I telling you this? Well, because this is Sav’s art, not Savanna’s. It is imperfect and messy and not always that great but real and honest and silly and goofy.

As for the use of “Car,” that is a whole other story. And no, it is not like a vehicle you drive, it is the first three letters of my last name.
